Michael J. Laurenzano, 69, of Arlington Heights, died Thursday in Northwest Community Healthcare Center, Arlington Heights. Mr. Laurenzano retired in 1993 as an electrical inspector at Motorola Inc., Schaumburg, where he worked for 27 years. Mr. Laurenzano, a Chicago native, was a Korean War veteran, a member of American Legion Post 2910, Bloomington, and a 27-year member of the Disabled American Veterans. Survivors include his wife, June; and five sisters, Bridget Thomas, Maryann Furlong, Geraldine Wyda, Terri Shepherd and Georgeann Bradley. Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. A mass will follow at 10 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights.
