Harold B. Smith, 73, of Des Plaines, a salesman, died Saturday. Mr. Smith was born in Maine and served in the Army Air Forces during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Frances; two daughters, Linda Lightfoot and Pam Stevens; four brothers, Leroy, Dana, Raymond and Wayne; and four grandsons. Services will begin at 1 p.m. Aug. 15 in Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd., Mt. Prospect.
