Frederick J. Miller, 57, of Hanover Park, a specialty carpenter who installed oak floors for 25 years, died Monday of complications from colon cancer in Columbia Hoffman Estates Medical Center. Mr. “He never said a bad word about anybody,” said his son Robert Steven Miller. “He was an honest, hard-working man who was well-liked by people.” Other survivors include his wife Judy; and three brothers, Clyde, Melvin and Jesse. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 485 S. Bartlett Rd., Streamwood. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
