Robert W. Collins, 79, of Bensenville died Tuesday in the Anchorage of Bensenville, a nursing facility. Born in Gladstone, Mich., Mr. Collins was a stationary engineer and a self-employed carpenter. Survivors include his wife, Virginia; two sons, Wayne and Robert; a brother, John; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Geils Funeral Home, 180 S. York Rd., Bensenville. Services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Friday in the funeral home, with mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Alexis Catholic Church, 400 W. Wood Ave., Bensenville.
