Thomas W. Green, 88, of Naperville died Sunday at Tabor Hills Healthcare Facility in Naperville. Mr. Green moved to Naperville in 1992 from Madison, Tenn. He was a conductor for the Pullman Railroad from 1946 to 1960 and a machine operator for the Duo-Fast Corp. in Franklin Park from 1960 to 1976. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 272 in Goodlettsville, Tenn., since 1946. He enjoyed the outdoors and camping and built miniature wood crafts and clocks. Mr. Green was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Maxine; a daughter, Billie Mateer; three stepbrothers, James, Alvis and John; a stepsister, Lula Mae Carrell; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Tabor Hills Healthcare Facility, 1347 Crystal Lake Ct., Naperville.
