Ever since the Cubs have used Steve Stone as an “announcer,” I never thought anyone could make him look good. But they’ve done it–Chip Caray makes Steve Stone look good. Caray is terrible–send him back to Orlando, to Fox full time, or have his daddy get him another job.
When I watch the Cubs on TV, I have the mute button on. Radio is not much better. Ron Santo is also terrible. What used to be a good radio-TV announcing team is now about the worst I have heard.
