Mary E. Anderson, 90, of Batavia died Sunday in Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva. A Batavia native, Mrs. Anderson ran W.L. Anderson Shop, her family’s business. She also was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church in Batavia, the Batavia Historical Society, the Batavia Senior Citizens and the Batavia Women’s Club. Survivors include a sister, Virginia Freedlund, and many nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Bethany Lutheran Church, 8 S. Lincoln St., Batavia.
