Paul Schmied’s “Best and Brightest” letter (Voice July 22) made me wish I had a kill file for my newspaper. True code-heads, both occupational and recreational, describe themselves as nerds. We don’t beat around the bush about it; why should editors have to when it is their sacred duty to represent their stories as fully and accurately as possible?
It is you who owes the information technology industry an apology, Mr. Schmied, and the Trib editors you label “socially ignorant, vocabulary-challenged, bigoted and incompetent.”
