Florence Petter, 83, of Woodstock died Tuesday in Valley Hi Nursing Home in Woodstock. Formerly of Chicago, she was a resident of Woodstock since 1982. She married Stephen Nowakowski in September 1937; he died in 1948. In 1960, she married Joseph Petter, who died in 1965. She had worked as a meat packer in Chicago. Survivors include a daughter, Deanna Gray. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Resurrection Cemetery Chapel, 7200 Archer Ave., Justice.
