Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
If your only impression of Irish dancing is a bare-chested Michael Flatley hoofing in leather pants, then check out the Trinity Irish Dance Company. The Trinity dancers’ fancy footwork, synchronized moves and thunderous sounds have impressed audiences around the world – and the internationally acclaimed dance troupe will perform at Navy Pier’s Skyline Stage, 600 E. Grand Ave., at 8 p.m. Saturday to kick off a world tour. An earlier 2 p.m. family performance showcases gold medalists from the 1998 World Champions of Irish Dance competition. For tickets, call 312-559-1212.
