A Florida-based telephone company was barred from using Ameritech Corp.’s name when it seeks to recruit customers in Ameritech’s five-state Midwest territory. A federal judge in Chicago granted Ameritech’s request for an injunction against One Step Billing, based in Clearwater, Fla. Ameritech officials said numerous customers complained that One Step used Ameritech’s name to confuse them.
