Bert W. Lewis, 90, of Homewood, died Saturday at Ingalls Hospital in Harvey. Mr. Lewis was a retired appliances sales manager for the Sears Roebuck and Co. store at 79th Street and Kenwood Avenue. He was born in Chicago and had lived in Dolton. Mr. Lewis was a World War II Navy veteran and member of the Pall Gall American Legion Post 0303 in Riverdale. He also was a member of the Homewood Izaak Walton League, a local chapter of a national environmental group. Survivors include two nieces and a nephew. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Tews Funeral Home, 18230 S. Dixie Highway, Homewood. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
