Celeste Marie Hamil, 48, of McHenry died Monday in Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry. She was a resident of McHenry since 1972. She worked for Great America in Gurnee from 1975 to 1985. For the last eight years, she worked as a secretary at Northern Illinois Medical Center. She is survived by her husband, Michael; two daughters, Vanessa and Veronica; her father, Victor Shearman; and a brother, Gregory Shearman. Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 1401 N. Richmond Rd., McHenry.
