The top clearinghouse official at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange is moving to Chicago’s Refco Group Ltd. Kathleen Meyer will assume her new duties as chief operations officer for global listed derivatives at the Chicago-based trading firm “within the next month,” Refco announced. Meyer had been a leading candidate to run a proposed Merc-Chicago Board of Trade common-clearing organization.
