Working on: I’m hosting the “Miss Teen USA Pageant” on Aug. 17, and I host “Entertainment Tonight,” both on CBS-TV.

Magazines I read: Vanity Fair, Sports Illustrated and People.

Favorite pigout food: My dad’s barbecued ribs. He digs a hole in the ground and it takes forever, but they’re amazing.

Favorite performer: Ella Fitzgerald.

Prized possession: A diamond cross from Tiffany’s from my husband.

Personal heroes: Jane Pauley, Billy Graham and my mother and mother-in-law.

I wish I could stop: Worrying.

I’m better than anyone else when it comes to: Booking airline tickets. I’m world class. I even do it for my friends.

If I could do it over, I’d: Have had kids already.

I’d give anything to meet: My great-grandparents.

My fantasy is: Three months vacation, I don’t care where it is.

The worst advice my mother ever gave me: “Let’s perm your hair.” It was a disaster.

The one thing I can’t stand: Back-stabbing.

People who knew me in high school thought I was: Too perfect. I was a goody-two-shoes.

If I weren’t a broadcaster, I’d be: An interior decorator or living out my dream in the WNBA.

If I’ve learned one thing in life it’s: Never be afraid to fail.

Most humbling experience: Going to the bathroom with my microphone on.
