Golub & Co. has opened a sales and design center for The Bristol, a 41-story mixed-use condominium building under construction at the southeast corner of Rush Street and Delaware Place in Chicago.

The building, a joint venture between affiliates of Golub and Co. and Boston-based AEW Capital Management, will include 189 units priced from $240,000 to $1.3 million.

The 3,905-square-foot center is on the 40th floor of the John Hancock Center, 875 N. Michigan Ave., and features scale models, room vignettes and 3-D multi-media computer presentations that enable shoppers to virtually walk through units.

The Bristol will offer 10 basic floor plans with flexibility to combine units and extensively customize them. There will be six units per floor.

The ninth floor of the building will feature a fitness center, 60-foot swimming pool with adjacent whirlpool, an outdoor garden deck and hospitality room. There will also be 224 parking spaces.

Sales hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. For an appointment, call 312-255-9157.

– Two decorated models have opened for viewing at River North Commons, a $40 million loft condominium and new-construction high-rise development in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. It is being developed by Enterprise Development Co.

The models are a one-bedroom, one-bath unit with 935 square feet and a two-bedroom, two-bath condo with 1,305 square feet.

The one-bedroom model features exposed timber beams and metal piping on the ceiling. Floors are multicolored slate tile with hardwood in the kitchen and main living areas.

The two-bedroom model has a guest bedroom/den. Its kitchen and living/dining area floors are maple in a herringbone pattern. The kitchen cabinets are also maple with stainless steel countertops, appliances and island.

River North Commons has more than 45 floor plans. They range from 818 to 2,390 square feet and are priced from $127,500 to $465,500.

The development’s 3,500-square-foot sales center is located on the ground floor of 700 N. Kingsbury St., a vintage six-story building.

Plans for Phase I call for a mix of 108 one-, two- and three-bedroom “hard lofts” with exposed timber beam columns and ceilings and “soft lofts” with dry walled finished ceilings. Ground-floor residences will feature private yards and all other lofts will have balconies.

A penthouse level will be added to the roof of the building for duplex residences.

Parking will include 250 indoor and outdoor parking spaces. Outdoor spaces are priced at $6,000 and indoor garage parking ranges from $8,000 to $13,900.

– Lakewood Homes has opened sales of its four Signature series models at Lakewood Falls in unincorporated Will County.

They are all two-story designs available for August occupancies and include window and wall treatments, built-ins, existing landscaping and other options and upgrades.

Two of the models–the Bristol and Canterbury–feature three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, while the Durham and Easton each have four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.

The models all feature two-car garages, basements, box bay windows in kitchens, volume ceilings in master bedrooms, and family rooms.

The 1,689-square-foot Bristol includes a family room fireplace and is priced at $181,630. The 1,775-square-foot Canterbury has skylights in the family room and master bath and a fireplace in the family room. It is priced at $196,565. The Durham, with 2,121 square feet, has a breakfast room, master bath skylight and fireplaces in the family and living rooms. It is priced at $204,305. The Easton, priced at $215,155, has 2,174 square feet, a den, breakfast room, master bath with whirlpool tub and skylight, and family room with fireplace and skylight.

– First Country Homes has opened three models at Country Meadows, a community planned for 210 single-family homes on 110 acres at Will Center Road and Court Street in south suburban Monee.

For a limited time, First Country is offering free air conditioning.

Priced from $129,850 to $160,700, the eight ranch, two-story and tri-level floor plans range from 1,362 to 1,939 square feet.

One of the three new models is the two-story 1,761-square-foot Oakmont with three bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, a basement, 16-foot-high stacked windows and volume ceilings in the family room, and a two-story foyer with plant shelves. In its “B” elevation, the home has brick on its first level. It is priced from $152,900.

The second model, the 1,410-square-foot Peachtree, is a tri-level with a front porch, cathedral ceilings in the living room and a kitchen with an island counter. Elevation “C” is priced from $141,860 and comes with three bedrooms, one bath, and an unfinished basement.

The two-story Applewood is the third model. It features three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a family room with a two-story foyer and is priced from $153,900.

– Tantillo Homes Inc. has opened four models at Fox Ridge Creek, a community planned for 74 townhouses in DuPage County on the Woodridge/Naperville border.

Four two-story floor plans range from 1,630 to 1,960 square feet and include two or three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.

Standard amenities include basements, two-car garages, patios or wood decks per plan and central air conditioning. Prices range from $189,900 to $222,900. Townhouse exteriors are brick and cedar and home sites are fully sodded. Monthly association fees are $92.

One of the models is the 1,960-square-foot Fieldstone. It features a master suite with private bath, sitting room with oversized window, his and her walk-in closets, and optional skylights.

Fox Ridge Creek has an on-site forested wetland, a one-acre pond and a creek running along its northern boundary. Bordering Fox Ridge Creek is the 1,438-acre Greene Valley Forest Preserve.

– Five Waterford Place of Wheaton condominiums, including two models, are still available at phase-two pricing, ranging from $165,900 to $192,700.

Waterford Place, a Norwood Builders community, will include 110 one-, two- and three-bedroom homes in three brick buildings at Gary Avenue and Front Street in the western suburb.

About 24 two- and three-bedroom condominiums also remain in Building Three, priced from $155,900 for a two-bedroom, one-bath condo to $293,500 for the three-bedroom, two-bath design.

Five two- and three-bedroom floor plans range from 1,199 to 2,350 square feet.

The two models for sale in Building Two are the 1,428-square-foot Kensington, priced at $192,700, and the 1,527-square-foot Hampton, priced at $190,600.

Both homes feature living rooms with balconies, formal dining rooms, kitchens with dinettes, laundry rooms, and master bedrooms with walk-in closets and private baths.

– Coromandel in north suburban Deerfield is approaching closeout with two one-bedroom, two two-bedroom and six three-bedroom condos plus one townhouse remaining.

Located at Waukegan and Kates Roads, Coromandel is being developed by Optima Inc. on a 48-acre site to include 316 condominiums, 68 town homes and 16 manor homes amid 33 acres of landscaped open space.

Move-in dates can be as early as 30 days.

Prices start at $134,442 for one-bedroom condominiums; from $199,500 for two-bedroom, two-bath units; from $308,000 for two-bedroom condos with a den; and from $321,000 for three-bedroom, two-bath condos.

The three-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath two-story town home is priced at $331,000.

The condos are located in three-story brick buildings and include patios or balconies and heated garage space.

One of the available condos offers two bedrooms, a den, two baths, a great room with dining room or study, eat-in kitchen with sliding glass doors to the patio or balcony, master suite with walk-in closet and compartmented bath, and a laundry/utility room. The third-floor unit also has a fireplace in the great room and skylights in the bathrooms and study, and includes heated underground parking. It is priced at $317,000.

Coromandel includes five lakes, four reflecting ponds and mature trees as well as newly planted large trees, shrubs and wildflowers.

The glass-enclosed clubhouse with indoor and outdoor pools includes a spa, exercise room and party room. Tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, playgrounds and jogging trails are planned.

Monthly assessment fees range from about $100 to $300.

– Ferris Homes has opened a new display model at Custom Homes at Stonegate, a Northbrook community planned for 128 single-family homes.

The 4,287-square-foot Windsor model is a two-story design with four bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, a partially finished basement, and a three-car garage.

Other features of the home include a two-story family room with fireplace and wet bar, media room with stereo and wide screen television, dining room, study, first-floor laundry room, kitchen with center island and breakfast area, playroom, and master bedroom suite with two walk-in closets and a gas fireplace. It is priced from $679,900.

Outside, the home has cedar siding and brick and Dryvit finishes with red cedar shake roof with copper flashings.

Homes at Stonegate are priced from $546,900 to $739,900. It is located at the northwest corner of Willow and Landwehr Roads in the northern suburb.
