The Aug. 7 headline “Reno cited for contempt” is inaccurate and misleading. Reading through the article makes it clear that the committee lacks the authority to cite anyone without full House approval. The House has not yet approved the committee’s recommendation. Ergo, Reno has not been cited.
Less sensationalism and more accuracy would make the Tribune a more credible newspaper.
