Sylvia A. Hess, 70, of McHenry died Thursday in her home. A resident of McHenry for 43 years, she was a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters, Hallie Rischard and Madeline Miller; a sister, Irene Glover; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, followed by services, in George R. Justen & Son Funeral Home, 3519 Elm St., McHenry.
