The Fox Lake Planning and Zoning Board on Wednesday night unanimously approved final design plans for the construction of 96 condominiums in the village.
The new development, to be known as Reva Bay Condominiums, will be located at the intersection of Grass Lake Road and Lake Shore Drive.
The condos were designed and will be constructed by the Milwaukee-based Capital Associates. Despite the Planning Board’s approval, Capital Associates must still meet the final recommendations of the village engineer before going to the Village Board.
“We’ve been working on this project for more than a year and a half now, and it will be a pleasure, as well as a relief, to finally get started,” said Fred Loeb, a representative of Capital Associates.
Following the meeting, Loeb said that Capital intended to begin construction of the roadways for this development within the next 30 days and hopes to have all the condos open for occupation by July 1999.
