Catherine Woods, a 17-townhouse community being developed by Barrett Design & Construction on Chicago’s Northwest Side, has three homes available for 60-day delivery.
The homes are completed to the drywall stage, so buyers still have a chance to choose their finishes.
Available options and upgrades include rooftop decks, fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, oak flooring on main living levels, microwave ovens, central air conditioning, and an expanded penthouse area.
All remaining townhomes are of one 1,500-square-foot floor plan with two bedrooms, two or 2 1/2 baths, and an attached two-car garage. They are priced from $178,400.
The community is on East River Road between Foster and Bryn Mawr Avenues. Sales hours are noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, or by appointment.

– Five inventory homes are available for fall delivery at The Residences of Sauganash, a community of 81 single-family homes on Chicago’s Northwest Side.
Preconstruction prices range from $399,900 to $549,900 for the eight two-story floor plans at the 17-acre community, which is a joint venture of Bejco Development of Chicago and Terrestris Development Corp. of Oak Brook.
Designed in English Tudor and English Country styles by FitzGerald Associates Architects, the homes have three or four bedrooms, 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 baths and 2,573 to 4,140 square feet, including a finished English basement.
Buyers can still choose appliances and cabinets, hardwood flooring and millwork trim, plumbing fixtures, lighting package, fireplace mantle and marble or granite fireplace surrounds. They may also select carpeting, ceramic tile for powder rooms and baths, and countertop selections for kitchen and baths.
One of the available homes is the four-bedroom Montclair, priced at $466,370. It features a first-floor master suite with two walk-in closets and bath with his and hers vanities, soaking tub and separate shower.
The living/dining room and kitchen have hardwood floors. The kitchen opens to a family room with fireplace and exits to a wood deck. It also has an attached two-car garage and English basement with roughed-in plumbing.
Three decorated models, designed by Chicago-based Mary Cook & Associates, are open for viewing.

– Eight single-family homes, including a decorated model, remain for sale at Woodhill Estates, a D.R. Custom Homes community in northwest suburban Lake Villa.
To celebrate the neighborhood’s closeout, D.R. Horton is offering a $10,000 discount on its final homes, which will be available for 120-day delivery.
Three of the homes are ready for immediately delivery with the builder offering a special financing package on them.
Six floor plans are still available ranging from 1,660 to 2,475 square feet with three or four bedrooms, two or 2 1/2 baths, attached two-car garages, and dens or lofts per plan. They are priced from $175,340 to $259,900.

– Hidden Lake, a townhome community in Lisle, is approaching closeout with a dozen homesites remaining for sale, including two overlooking Seven Bridges Golf Course.
The remaining homes all include English basements, usually an an $11,000 to $14,000 option.
The 88 townhomes at the Ryland Homes community are priced from $162,990 to $190,900. Four floor plans, ranging from 1,277 to 1,685 square feet, include two or three bedrooms and 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 baths. Three models are on display.
