Bill Clinton is now admitting he lied, that he did have an affair with Monica Lewinsky.
Consequently, that means he perjured himself under oath and prevented Paula Jones from having a fair trial. Where does Mrs. Jones go to get her justice back?
Consequently, that means since January, all the attacks by Clinton’s apologists on Kenneth Starr were unfair. Where does Mr. Starr go to get his reputation back?
Consequently, that means seven months of stonewalling and ridiculous claims of privilege unnecessarily contributed to that bill for $40 million from the Office of Independent Counsel. Where do the taxpayers go to get their money back?
And the consequences don’t end there. We also have the issues of: sexual harassment in the workplace; adultery with a woman the age of his daughter; loss of respect and authority for the office of the president, both here and abroad; words like “semen” are now commonplace on the nightly news.
In sum, what we have here is the dumbing down of social values and mores. Where do we go to get our country back?
