Elizabeth Petersen, 31, of Schaumburg died Monday in her home. Born in Garfield Heights, Ohio, Miss Petersen received an associate’s degree from Harper College in Palatine. For the past 12 years, she worked as a house supervisor in Clearbrook Center, a Rolling Meadows facility serving people with developmental disabilities. “She was a woman who saved other people’s lives because she was always there for everybody,” said her father, Ronald Petersen. Other survivors include her mother, Leonora; a sister, Jennifer Sucheki; and a brother, David. Services were held Wednesday.
