John W. Collins, 59, of Woodstock died Tuesday in Memorial Medical Center in Woodstock. He was a superintendent for a construction firm and had served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Survivors include his wife, Judith; two sons, Patrick and Timothy; two grandchildren; a brother, Richard; and a sister, Eileen Luedtke. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday and the funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Schneider-Leucht-Merwin and Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 Seminary Ave., Woodstock.
