Dorothy L. Roty, 92, of Schaumburg, and formerly of Chicago, died Tuesday in her home. Mrs. Roty, a Chicago native, graduated from Austin High School in the city. She worked for 30 years as a receptionist for Armstrong Blum Manufacturing, a Chicago maker of sewing equipment. She resided for 21 years in Schaumburg. “She was a very considerate, kind and loving person,” said her son, Frank. Other survivors include five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Friday in Forest Park.
