Mary D. Solon, 82, of Arlington Heights died Sunday in her home. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Solon was a retired real estate broker for Nelson Realty of Arlington Heights. She also volunteered at Our Lady of the Wayside School Library. She is survived by two sons, James and Patrick; a daughter, Joan Bergquist; a sister, Dorothy Lyons; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Prayers will be said at 9 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home. A mass will follow at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 432 W. Park St., Arlington Heights.
