Frances Lathan, 89, of West Chicago died Tuesday in Wynscape Nursing Center in Wheaton. Born in Rockingham, N.C., Mrs. Lathan lived in West Chicago for the past 15 years. She was a former seamstress. Survivors include a daughter, Lucille; three brothers, Paul, Alton and Ellis Hurst; a sister, Eva Forbis; and three grandsons. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Norris-Walen Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago.
