Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
In reference to “Cheap parking in Loop just got harder to find” (News, Sept. 3), I am wondering why these people are driving in the first place. If $15 is too much for them, they should look to the bargain basement value of the CTA and Metra.
By taking public transportation, commuters can read the Tribune, put on makeup, talk to friends and use their cell phones without endangering their fellow commuter or polluting the Earth. And all for as little as $1.50 one way. That’s even less than the flag on a taxi these days ($1.60).
Those buses are not there just for the poor; they are also there to provide an efficient way of getting around the city.
