Dan Burton, congressman from Indiana, is the quintessential GOP leader. The ultimate hypocrite. Burton has called President Clinton a “scumbag” for Clinton’s supposed lack of morals, but recently Burton admitted that he has fathered an illegitimate child. It is noteworthy, I believe, that Burton has been held in high esteem by the so-called Christian Coalition.
