As the mother of a Marine, I wish to thank you for printing John Kass’ powerful column on Sept. 15 (“Sure Clinton’s tryst is a private matter–just like war is”).
I have long thought that it is a tragedy that our country has such a dishonorable person as commander-in-chief leading all of our fine men and women in the armed services.
As a wife, I am very troubled by another aspect of this entire scenario. Each time I hear Hillary Clinton introducing her husband, telling the audience how proud she is of him, I keep thinking there must be some mistake. What is there about a man who has treated her as he has to be proud of?
My heart aches for Chelsea, the one true victim in this ugly situation.
