For the second time in recent weeks, a counterfeit $5 bill was spotted by attendants at a gas station at 167th Street and La Grange Road. A fake $5 bill was received at the station Thursday from a Frankfort man who told police he had received it in change at an Alsip gas station. On Sept. 24, a Chicago man was stopped by police after he unknowingly passed a bogus $5 bill at the same station.
