A manhole cover apparently was opened and three electronic devices used to monitor gasoline storage tanks at a Citgo station, 1005 Dundee Ave., were removed, police said. The three missing devices were worth $10,000 to $15,000 and were reported missing on Friday, authorities said. Thieves apparently pulled off the manhole cover and cut wires that attached the monitors to other underground electrical equipment, police said.
