John J. Shubeck, 88, of Arlington Heights died Sunday in Plum Grove Nursing Home in Palatine. Mr. Shubeck had retired after more than 25 years as a photo-lithographer at the former Gregg-Moore Printing Co. in Chicago. “He was a man who certainly loved his family, and he was a good neighbor,” said his daughter Betty A. Shubeck. Other survivors include a daughter, Connie S. DeLuca; a sister, Henrietta Plansky; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a mass at 10 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights.
