Your “The path to impeachment” editorial on Oct. 4 repeated your call for President Clinton’s resignation for his egregious moral lapses. Then, knowing that Mr. Clinton has vowed not to resign, you assail Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr for his “obsessive zeal” and, with review of the evidence just starting, you declare, with equal zeal, there is not enough evidence to justify impeachment.
This sounds very much like Clinton-doublespeak. You do yourself and your readers a disservice.
