A semi-automatic handgun was reported stolen Monday from a 1989 Ford Escort in the 1400 block of North Potter Road, according to a police report. The handgun was stored in the vehicle’s trunk, and it was several days before it was discovered missing. There were no signs of forced entry, police said.
