Hazel E. Owens, 91, a resident of Elmhurst for more than 35 years, died Thursday in Lexington Square Retirement Community in Elmhurst. Born in Lakefield, Minn., Mrs. Owens was a volunteer at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital and the YWCA. She was a housewife. Survivors include two sons, Michael and Tim; a daughter, Patricia Fortune; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 8:30 until services at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 S. York Rd., Elmhurst.
