Robin Construction Corp. has opened an on-site sales center and two decorated condominium models at Lincoln Ridge, a community planned for 120 condos and 68 carriage homes in north suburban Skokie.

The models include a two-bedroom, two-bath corner unit with 1,407 square feet and an interior two-bedroom unit with 1 1/2 baths and 1,216 square feet, including balconies.

Condos, which are priced from $152,400 to $229,900, range from 976 square feet for one-bedroom one-bath units to 1,724 square feet for three-bedroom, two-bath designs. One-bedroom plus den plans with 1 1/2 baths have 1,228 square feet with balcony and two-bedroom units have one, 1 1/2 or two baths and range from 1,171 to 1,455 square feet. Prices include one heated indoor parking space and an individual storage locker adjacent to the space.

The sales center and models are in the first of two planned buildings at 7400 N. Lincoln Ave., two blocks north of Touhy Avenue. Two carriage home models, a two-bedroom and a three-bedroom plan, are also open for viewing.

– Preconstruction sales are under way at The Courts at Conway Farms, an enclave of 50 semi-custom single-family homes along a lake on the Conway Farms golf course in north suburban Lake Forest. The maintenance-free community is being developed by The Corley Communities Inc.

Floor plans offer three bedrooms, two to 3 1/2 baths and range from 2,400 to 3,100 square feet. They are priced from $479,000 and include kitchens with separate morning rooms, planning desks, pantries and adjoining laundry rooms, great rooms with masonry fireplaces, libraries, and first-floor master bedrooms per plan.

One of the plans is the 3,021-square-foot Covington, based priced at $581,000. It features three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a two-story entryway, first-floor master bedroom, library, great room, living and dining rooms, and basement.

– Sales are underway at Insignia Oaks of Highland Park, a semi-custom home community of eight homes being developed by Insignia Homes on Lake Cook Road, just west of Green Bay Road in the northern suburb.

Located on a heavily wooded site across from the Chicago Botanical Gardens, Insignia Oaks features lots averaging a quarter acre.

Five two-story floor plans are priced from $592,990 to $749,990 and range from 3,090 to 4,136 square feet with four of five bedrooms, and 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 baths.

Homes have nine-foot first-floor ceilings, fireplaces, central air conditioning, brick front elevations, oak railings, ceramic flooring throughout, and attached two- or three-car garages, depending upon the plan.

Standard amenities, depending on the plan, include family rooms with volume ceilings, dens, formal dining rooms, libraries, and formal rotundas.

Construction is scheduled to start next spring followed by first occupancies in late summer.

– Preconstruction sales are set to begin Sunday for Park Place On The Green, a 15-acre, gated community of 76 duplex and triplex town homes for buyers 55 and older, in far southwest suburban Joliet.

Priced from $89,900 to $116,900, the floor plans range from 917 to 1,400 square feet and feature one to three bedrooms and one to three baths. They also have one-car garages with a two-car option.

One of the floor plans is the 1,209-square-foot Park. The one-story end unit features two bedrooms, two baths, and a master bedroom suite with private bath. The formal dining room opens to the patio and the kitchen has a breakfast nook. The Park is priced from $116,900.

For the first few weeks of preconstruction sales, Colony Builders is offering buyers free central air conditioning and up to $4,000 off the price of the home. First deliveries and models are scheduled for March completion.

Park Place On The Green is located at Ingalls Avenue and Cedarwood Drive, a quarter mile east of Essington, on the west side of Joliet. The off-site sales center is at Citadel on the Rock Run, another Colony community, located on Essington.

– Lanco Development has opened its first decorated model at the Fairways of Turnberry and the Hills of Turnberry, a golf course community in far northwest suburban Lakewood.

The 6,137-square-foot Grand Geneva model is priced at $750,000, including a three-fifth-acre site.

Some unique features of the home include an elevator to all three levels, a rotunda, a two-story grand room with carved stone fireplace, a music room, and a gazebo beside a pond. Also in the house are a library, family room, kitchen and breakfast area, and sunroom with wet bar. The master bedroom suite includes an exercise room and bath with whirlpool tub, separate vanities, porcelain-tiled shower, built-in mini-refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.

The home also has a finished walkout basement with full bath, bedroom, and game room with fireplace.

Lanco’s 32 home sites are available in floor plans ranging from 2,800 to 6,000 square feet and are priced from $350,000. All lots, a half acre and larger, include city sewer and water.

The Fairways of Turnberry is located off Lakewood Road, two miles west of Randall Road and just north of Ackman Road. The two neighborhoods intermingle with the Red Tail Golf Club and Turnberry Country Club.

– Scarsdale Homes has opened its first model at Gurnee Glen, a community of 47 single-family homes in far north suburban Gurnee.

The 1208/Manor plan has 3,290 square feet with four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, volume foyer, first-floor den, great room with vaulted ceiling, and master suite. It is priced from $319,000.

The 12 ranch and two-story floor plans at the community range from 2,550 to 3,750 square feet with four bedrooms, 2 1/2 to four baths, basements and attached three-car garages. They are priced from $249,000 to $389,000.

Standard amenities include 9-foot first-floor ceilings, first-floor dens, and vaulted ceilings.

To reach the community, take Interstate Highway 94 to Illinois Highway 120. Exit west to Hunt Club Road. Turn north and go 2 1/2 miles to the community, just south of Washington Street.
