Loretta A. Varese, 81, of McHenry died Tuesday in her home. Formerly of Centerville, Iowa, she was a resident of McHenry for 45 years. Survivors include her husband, Ralph; a daughter, Cynthia Bottcher; a son, Ralph Jr.; a sister, Virginia Sebastian; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mass was said Thursday.
