I enjoyed Blair Kamin’s series on reinventing the lakefront. But in his piece on Burnham Park (Tempo, Oct. 27), the column on the left side had stats that were misleading. They showed that the North had twice as many restrooms, drinking fountains and play lots, but, to get a good perspective, you have to understand that the North also has double the acreage, which means it should have twice the restrooms, etc.

Maybe the population numbers would prove that the North and South is a little out of whack, but in acres, it’s not too uneven.
