Loretta E. McCastland, 86, a former U.S. postal clerk and wife of the late Oak Lawn Fire Chief John McCastland, died Friday in her Oak Lawn home. Mrs. McCastland, who was born in Baltimore, was involved in several local organizations, including the St. Linus Friendship Club and Women’s Guild and the Southwest Polish Organization. Survivors include a daughter, Joan Klein; and a son, John P. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Linus Church, 10300 S. Lawler Ave., Oak Lawn.
