Do Republicans want to shut down government once again, for months on end, while the Senate, president and chief justice battle and important legislative agendas are ignored? That’s what will occur if the House votes for impeachment.
Republicans have failed to consider what is best for the country and what is best for their constituents. That is the judgment of history that I foresee.
