Douglas Burnside, 57, of Villa Park died Wednesday in Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. Born in Chicago, Mr. Burnside was a technician for a communications company. He is survived by his wife, Judith; two daughters, Beth and Carol; a son, Robert; a brother, Leroy; a sister, Susan; and a grandchild. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday in Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park. Services will be private.
