The headline of Irene Natividad’s Jan. 21 commentary, “Who’s government is it, anyway?”, begs the question: Whose fault is it, anyway, that we have to suffer through obvious grammatical errors in a paper of the Tribune’s caliber–in headlines, no less? I was under the impression that journalists and editors wrote and proofread for a living, and should know how to use the English language. If not you, then who?
You are doing your readers a great disservice by leading those who don’t know better to believe this is how to write.
