Question: I got a message warning me not to open e-mail from certain senders because they’ll automatically steal my AOL password. Is this true?
The message is a hoax. Your computer can’t be infected by a virus or reveal your password just by receiving e-mail. (E-mail attachments, though, can contain viruses, so always run virus-checking software before opening one from an unknown source.)
