Bernard Bonkowski, 64, of Poplar Grove and formerly of Villa Park died Sunday in his home. Born in Chicago, Mr. Bonkowski was the owner of a messenger service. Survivors include his wife, Alice; two sons, Steven and Michael; a brother, George; and a sister, Elaine Sipek. A mass will be said at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Visitation Catholic Church, 779 S. York St., Elmhurst.
