Gene Siskel touched many people in many ways. At the very beginning of my radio career he took me aside along with his partner, Roger Ebert, and gave me advice that formed the basis for my 25 years on daily radio. I listened to him then, and miss him now. His best legacy is his beloved family and the millions of moviegoers who counted on his judgment before their own.
