Should paramedics be required to force entry to a location from which a 911 call has been received? Yes, absolutely. Should the city pay for damages resulting from forced entry? No way!

We are already paying fees/taxes to make the 911 system available. If paramedics have to force entry, the 911 caller should shoulder the additional costs that call incurs.

The expense of fixing a door or window should be a small price to pay for having your or a loved one’s life saved.
