Constance O. Mudge, 72, a homemaker, died Saturday in her Lombard home. Born in Chicago, Mrs. Mudge taught 12 years at Sacred Heart Parish in Lombard and was a vice president of the Lombard Service League. She also was a volunteer at the Marklund Children’s Home and the Lombard Food Pantry. Survivors include her husband, Robert; a daughter, Mary Ellen Metcalf; six sons, Robert Jr., Martin, Randall, William, Ronald and Gerald; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a mass at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 114 S. Elizabeth St., Lombard.
