I read John McCarron’s March 1 column and was saddened and frustrated. Whenever someone brings an allegation against President Clinton, the first thing that is done is trash the person who brought the allegation or trash someone else who also has possibly done wrong.
When the allegations against President Clinton regarding Monica Lewinsky came out, the media started looking for other presidents who did what he did. When Kathleen Willey came forward, her reputation was trashed. Now, while most people believe Juanita Broaddrick, Mr. McCarron trashes her and Rep. Henry Hyde.
Let the president deal with this and the other allegations on their own merits, without trying to point the finger at someone else to divert attention from him.
