Listening to the critics and cynics of the Rachel Barton verdict sickens me. These self-proclaimed “experts” seem to resent the fact that this talented young woman, despite her horrible accident, has a new lease on life. I believe if it were one of their loved ones, they would think differently. I also wonder how many of them would agree to give up a limb in exchange for $30 million.
