I treated the Monica Lewinsky interview with the same disdain one feels seeing the various gossip tabloids in the supermarket checkout line. You know they’re there, you’re tempted to look, but in the end, common sense wins out and you move on without a second glance. The sad fact is that for the same reason people are attracted to the National Enquirer or the Globe, they also would waste their time watching the so called “news” program–ignorance.
